Kubota L2 Series

Clean power

The Kubota diesel engines with 4 cylinders are available with outputs between 33 kW (45 hp) and 45 kW (62 hp). Equipped with a common rail injection system, exhaust gas recirculation and diesel particulate filter, they easily comply with the strict EU Stage V emission standard. This not only means reduced environmental impact, but you also save fuel with this technology. You’ll also appreciate that the diesel particulate filter only needs to be cleaned every 6,000 hours – the longest cleaning interval in its class.

Simple maintenance

With a wide openning bonnet, the new L2-Series tractors are easy and quick to service. There is also is an acoustic warning that is triggered during refuelling when the fuel tank is full.

Easy access to air filters, etc.

The tractors are equipped with a one- piece engine cowling that can be fully opened for easy access to the engine compartment. This means you can easily and effortlessly reach all the important maintenance points, such as the air filter, radiator, etc.The large air intakes improve engine cooling and ensure that the tractor works perfectly even at high temperatures.

Smooth shifting at all times

With the tractors of the new L2-Series, you can choose between two proven Kubota transmissions: either the HST transmission with 3 ranges and Hi-Lo or a fully synchronised 16/16 manual transmission. They both impress with easy operation and high quality.

Fully synchronised transmission

Kubota’s economical FST transmission offers 16 forward and 16 reverse gears, including creeper speeds.

Enhanced speed gradation

Kubota’s HST Plus transmission features a three-stage group shift. In addition, a lever in each group allows you to shift between high and low speed. This lets you extend to six speeds. Once you have set your desired speed in the group, you can easily switch the H-DS hydraulic power shift between high and low speeds while driving. The H-DS function can be activated for automatic operation by simply pressing the mode selection button. For extra comfort and efficiency at work, the HST models also feature cruise control as standard.

Easier operation and reduced fuel consumption

The important “Auto Throttle Advance” function connects the HST pedal to the engine throttle and synchronizes driving and engine speeds. This makes the tractor much easier to operate and reduces noise level and fuel consumption. All you need to do then is depress the HST pedal to regulate the driving and engine speeds.

Needs-based response behaviour

The response behaviour of the hydrostatic transmission can be adjusted at the touch of a button. If your task requires an aggressive response, e.g. for front loader work, FAST is the ideal setting. If you want a smoother response, e.g. for working on grass, choose SLOW. It’s that simple.

Smart adaptation with Load Sensing

The new L2-Series also features an attractive load sensing system. This automatically regulates the activity of the HST pump and engine when it detects a drop in engine speed. With a choice of three different modes, the transmission can be instantly adjusted to suit the needs of the current application. Repeatedly pressing the button cycles through the modes from Mode 1 to Mode 3 and back again. The overload protection in mode 2, for example, prevents the motor from stalling in any situation.
