Kubota‘s EU Stage V 4-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine V2403CR meets the premium demands of the FC4-501: state-of-the-art engine technology for high performance, fuel efficiency and reduced emissions. The large 40-litre fuel tank ensures longer periods of mowing and less non-productive downtime.

Independent PTO drive

A multi-plate wet clutch pack drives the PTO for the mower deck. Minimal loss of power from the fully independent system ensures constant operating speed.

This allows mowing even in the most difficult conditions with little need for maintenance.

Fine and highly productive cutting

The FC4-501‘s front rotary mower with rear discharge and reverse rotation has a cutting width of 1.50 m (59‘‘). The blades rotate in the opposite direction to

a conventional rotary mower. This, together with the underbody design and the short discharge distance to the grass collector results in high productivity with high

cutting quality even in wet conditions.

Swing back dual blades

The swing back system with twin blades absorbs shocks and protects the mower driveline against impact with foreign objects left in the grass. Overlapping of the twin blades results in a precise, fine cut. Furthermore, it prevents the accumulation of grass and soil debris in the housing. This results in an increased grass throughput.

Maximum grass collection is guaranteed

With the large grass collector, you can accomplish an enormous amount. This is ensured not only by its 1300-litre capacity, but also by several features that ensure full utilisation of the hopper volume, as well as the unique suction turbine, which ensures a smooth filling.
