The FC3-261 features an innovative monocoque platform that offers great robustness with low weight. It is mounted on silent blocks that ensure less vibrations are transmitted to the operator. The hinged seat frame allows better accessibility for servicing the driveline. The easy-to-read digital instrument display informs the operator of all important information such as the set speed and operating function.

Clean engine power that pays off

Kubota‘s liquid-cooled D1105 three-cylinder diesel engine with emission level stage V produces 26 hp (19.2 kW) from a 1.123 litre displacement. The engine is not only powerful, but also fuel-efficient thanks to the Kubota E-TVCS inline fuel injection system. Together with the 30-litre fuel tank, a long workday is guaranteed without having to refuel.

Excellent cutting performance in all conditions

Front mower decks offer decisive advantages over mid-mounts. These include a better quality of cut because the grass is not run over over before cutting,

better maneuverability and cutting in areas that cannot be reached with mid-mounted mowers, and better adaptation to ground contours for a more precise cut. You‘ll also like this: The FC3-261‘s independent, belt actuated PTO drive for the decks requires little maintenance.

An optional 50‘‘ (1.26 m) wide rotary mower and a 51‘‘ (1.30 m) wide rotary mower with reverse rotation are available for the FC3-261. With the reverse direction of rotation, the blades rotate in the opposite direction as those on a conventional rotary mower. Combined with the underbody design as well as the rear discharge with a short travel to the collector, the result is a fine cut pattern as well as faster mowing with better results.

Powerful duo for optimum results

The centrally located, compact suction turbine is an integral part of the machine. The patented design offers clear advantages: The collection process is more effective, as the cut grass has to travel a shorter distance than with most other systems. The shorter transport distance also means that the turbine and the collection tube do not become blocked. The centre of gravity lies in the middle, which provides greater stability and balance of the machine. It also keeps the machine compact, making it extremely manoeuvrable.
